Who we are
GrailSpy is a free alpha service that provides labelled card price signals and alerting for Australian Pokémon collectors. We operate from Australia and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Email address (to sign you in and send alerts or the weekly digest)
- Watchlist entries and alert preferences
- Usage and server logs needed to run and debug the service
- Support correspondence you send us
We do not collect billing information. Alpha has no payments.
How we use it
To provide the service, send the emails you opted into, improve product quality, comply with legal obligations, and respond to support requests. We never sell your personal information.
Who we share with
Service providers that help us operate: hosting (Fly.io), authentication (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), error monitoring (Sentry), and the language-model provider used to evaluate listings (Anthropic). We do not share watchlists across users.
AI processing
Listing titles and watchlist context for a specific Check Now evaluation may be sent to Anthropic (Claude) so GrailSpy can decide whether a listing matches your card and looks underpriced. Prompts do not include your email address.
Market data
GrailSpy provides derived price signals from public market data. Card pages may show the public title, displayed item price, reported sold date and source link for observations used in an estimate. We do not collect private eBay transaction or buyer data for this feature.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email privacy@grailspy.com.au and we'll respond within 7 days.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and removed within 30 days of deletion, except where retention is required by law.
Complaints
If you believe we've mishandled your information, email us first. If unsatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
